The Mountain Bike Cartographers

We produce our own map series and also maps for other organisations such as Natural England (the government body that is here to conserve and enhance the natural environment). This has involved identifying routes, riding & collecting the information and producing the maps which are part based upon the Pennine Bridleway National Trail.

Our service is aimed at:

• Local Authorities or County Councils that is looking at producing cycling literature.
• Organisations that have a remit to develop maps of their area showing recreational routes for cyclists.
• Those involved in developing/improving mountain biking trails.
• Race organisers.

We are experienced mountain bikers & road cyclists and fully educated and trained cartographers - a combination that means we are highly skilled in this unique field.

We both survey and map a project which gives us a great feel for the area when it comes to producing the maps.

Wild Boar Series Mountain Bike Series:

These extracts show some of the features on our maps which give them a unique character and make them very popular with mountain bikers. We basically look at what information is important to the user and look at ways of showing this simply and clearly.

We can show a complete area map with suggested routes or as in the sample below guide the mountain biker around a specific route.
